HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR WIGS
- MAINTAINING YOUR RAW HAIR WIGS
One of the most important parts of extending your wig’s lifespan and keeping it clean is washing it regularly and thoroughly.
If you’re only wearing your wig every so often and you aren’t using any heavy gels or creams, you can get away with shampooing every 2-3 weeks.” keep your wig clean by washing it with mild shampoo and mild conditioner.
KEEP IT CLEAN (by a professional)
Before washing, comb your wig out with a wide-tooth comb to remove all tangles. Start at the ends and work up towards the cap. Try to avoid using a brush, which can cause breakage. Do not fully submerge your wig. Rather, hold it under running, cool water, allowing the water to run from roots to ends. Use a small amount of shampoo and evenly distribute it throughout the hair in a downwards motion. Rinse your wig by holding it under running, cool water until the water runs clear. Squeeze the strands gently to press out excess water. Next, apply conditioner to the end of the hair only. Applying conditioner to the roots can cause the hair to fall out. Leave the conditioner on for about 1-2 minutes without exceeding 5 minutes. Rinse your natural hair wig gently and towel dry. If you have one, it’s a good idea to let it dry naturally on a wig stand.
As you might with your natural hair, it is important to keep heat styling to a minimum with your wig. Blow dryers, curling irons, and straighteners can cause serious damage to hair by drying it out and breaking off the strands. You can certainly use these tools from time to time, but make sure to use a heat protectant on your human hair wig before styling.
Using hairspray, gel, or pomade on your wig can cause it to become oily and messy. There are
lots of non-oily products available.
While you are not using your wig, it is important to store it properly. Be sure to keep it somewhere that does not get direct sunlight, When you buy your wig, hold onto the original packaging. You can always use that to store your wig properly, you can also use a shoebox lined with tissue paper, an airtight plastic container, or a plastic, sealable bag. Make sure you brush your wigs before storing.
If you need help styling your wig or are feeling nervous about potentially damaging it, you can always have a professional take a look. They can help you achieve the human hair wig look you want without damaging your wig.

RAW HAIR VS VIRGIN HAIR
Raw hair texture is naturally derived whereas Virgin hair has been processed to achieve the texture pattern in efforts to mimic a particular hair style or pattern. Virgin hair on the market is typically silky, medium to high luster, and sourced from multiple donors. Raw hair varies in pattern, tone, and is typically lower to medium luster due to the fact that it is not processed and cut from one to few donors.
KNOWING YOUR WIG
- Purest form of Virgin Hair on Today’s Market.
- Rare (this is why we sell out fast).
- Every bundle has a unique appearance.
- Full cuticle hair.
- Mainly sourced from one to few donor.
- Available hair textures are limited to natural hair patterns (I.e. natural wave, curly, straight).
- Lasts long years because it gets better with every wash.
Raw hair …. drum rolls ….is 100% Natural Human Hair that is chemically unprocessed in any way and usually sourced from single donors.
As in the last article about What is raw hair we aimed that Single Donor Hair is not Raw hair, they are different.
why is single donor hair price higher than raw hair?
Single Donor Hair and Raw hair are both good quality, they are unprocessed hair but in fact Single Donor Hair is higher because of these characteristics:
- Single Donor Hair Is Not Mixed With Each Bundle after cutting single donor hair, bundles will be washed without mixing with each other.
- We spend more time collecting single donor hair than raw hair because we only choose the highest quality for single donor hair and it is also rare, the price for collecting is also higher.
Single donor hair is comes from donors whose hair has never been bleached, dyes or chemically treated.
Each bundle comes from a single donor meaning that there is not any mixing of hair types. This ensures that follicles are cohesive and genetically “work well together”. As a result, donor hair experiences little to no tangling, no friction between hair cuticles as they’re all aligned in the same direction.
The hair ultimately lasts so long since the raw material is of the highest available standard.
Just like its name, baby thin hair is the purest hair. There is no mixture, only from a single donor, from a youngster.
- is the 100% purest form of hair .
- Thin hair with very thin strands, soft and silky is a preferred choice for hair extensions, lace closures and wigs because it achieves the most natural look. It is really hard to tell that you are not wearing your real hair.
Start by determining if you have cool or warm skin. “Examine your wrist, veins and eyes,”
- If you see greenish color veins, that indicates more warm undertones.
- If you see blue or purple veins, that indicates a cooler skin tone.
- If you see a mix of blue, green and purple, that could indicate a neutral undertone.
Check the flecks of color in your eyes, too.
- Golden or hazel eye flecks can indicate warm undertones.
- Blue and gray eye flecks can indicate cool undertones.
- A combo of both indicates neutral tones.
Now that you’ve determined your skin tone, you can formulate haircolor for the desired end result. “You should make sure that the depth of the color is at least two shades darker or lighter than your skin to avoid looking washed out,”
- Cool haircolors to complement cool skin tones
- Warm haircolors to complement warm skin tones
Neutral skin tones have the most flexibility with colors, “They can go for cool platinum, to beige blonde or golden blonde,”

WIG DENSITY
UNDERSTANDING WIG DENSITY
Wig density measures the thickness and fullness of the hair on a wig. It determines how natural or voluminous the wig will appear when worn. Wig density is typically expressed as a percentage, with higher percentages representing thicker hair and lower percentages indicating lighter hair.
DIFFERENT DENSITY TYPES
Wigs with light density are designed to mimic the appearance of naturally growing folks. They offer a subtle and realistic look, with hair that is not overly thick or voluminous. Light-density wigs are suitable for individuals with fine or thinning hair, as they blend seamlessly and provide a natural hairline.
Medium-density wigs strike a balance between naturalness and added volume. They offer slightly more thickness and fullness than light-density wigs, making them suitable for individuals with medium to thick hair. Medium-density wigs provide a fuller look without appearing excessively heavy.
High-density wigs are characterized by their abundant volume and thickness. They are ideal for those seeking a glamorous and dramatic look. However, it’s important to note that high-density wigs may require more maintenance and can feel heavier when worn for extended periods.
